In the shopping center in the slice of Woodland that lies between Intersate-5 and Highway-113 is a small Mexican grill called Iguanas. George and found ourselves there for lunch recently. I thought I would share that meal for those of you who find yourself traveling up or down I-5 in need of some good vegetarian food as you pass through Woodland.
The burrito was really not that extraordinary, but it was good. The portion was generous, and the price was acceptable. We each ordered the vegetarian burrito, minus the sour cream. It comes with whole pinto beans (I did not ask if their re-fried beans were made with lard, but I did find out that the whole beans are clean), lettuce, tomato, guacamole, rice, and pico de gallo. The chips and salsa bar are free with the meal. I especially enjoyed the jalapeño carrots from the salsa bar. The grand total for burritos and sodas for two was just over $16.
